We have tried to be patient. But for those of us who claim the Chang as one of our favorite places in the world to eat, it has been hard. Sure, there's been a Chang's just down the road in north Naples, but that was not good enough. We wanted our own Chang's, in our own town. Today, that becomes a reality.And without wasting any time, the Millers and the Brickers headed south to Gulf Coast Town Center for the opening night for Fort Myers very own PF Chang's. We were not disappointed. While the layout was different than most Chang's I had been in, the service and the food was the same as usual, outstanding. And perhaps the best part of it all, it is about 15 minutes from my house.
What a great way to start off the week!

how long was the wait? Did the early bird eat the worm?
It was very, very crowded - but we had a reservation. Still had to wait about 15 minutes, but they were telling people walking up that it would be over an hour wait. If you plan on going make a reservation. Here's their number: 239-590-9197.
Raul & I went last night... fabulous! I was disappointed about the layout- think canned sardines... but the feeling of being a canned smelly fish was no match for the food and service!
Raul tried the Dali Chicken- for all of you spicy-food-lovers out there... it's fantastic. As for myself, I can not fathom being unfaithful to Chang's Chicken (make it extra spicy please)!
Ah, can't wait for my leftovers at lunch!
