Shrimp & Grits

This will be brief. Last night, Macy and I made the most incredible Shrimp & Grits dish in the world! Words cannot describe, so I won't even try. Ever since my first visit to Charleston, SC, about 9 years ago, I have been a fan of this dish. Well, last night, we blew away any Charleston low country restaurant by a mile. Good stuff!

Thanks Macy for a fun evening in the kitchen. Oh, and of course, we finished it all off with a vanilla latte'!

Love Shrimp & Grits! Love Charleston too! What a great city, full of history and Southern Charm. This summer I was there and ate at Hyman's. I had their fried green tomatoes on grits with Roumelade sauce over the top - it was so good I almost turned inside out! You'll have to cook that one up sometime....and invite me to dinner!!
